**Ghost Hunt:
A ghost hunt is when you go to a place where there have not been any sitings or reports of
ghosts that you are aware of and trying to catch them on film, video, sounds or as an eyewitness.

**Ghost Investigation:
A ghost investigation is defined as going to a place and recording data via video,photos,tape
recordings,notes, interviews and other evidence to prove or disprove a reported haunting.

**Ghost Research:
A ghost research is defined as going to a place with either a reported or unreported haunting
and investigation for paranormal activity. It is also commonly called paranormal research or
paranormal investigation.

**Ectoplasm:
Appears as a foggy substance which can be seen fully on the photo or concentrated in one area

**Vortex:
Looks like a funnel hanging in mid air. Sometimes mistaken for a camera strap

**Light Rod:
Appears in a stick or bar like shape. They sometimes will have a bend to it, then this is referred
to as a swirling light rod.

**Orb:
Ball of light, spherical in shape and can be transparent or translucent.

**Anomaly:
Something that is abnormal and not easily classified within a scientific process.

**Haunting:
Ongoing or repetitive occurrence of paranormal activity in a specific area over a long period of
time.

**Poltergiest:
A repetitive occurrence of spontaneous psychokinetic energy.

**Cryptozoology:
The study of the unknown animals such as Loch Ness Monster, Bigfoot.

**Entity:
Another word for a spirit of an inhuman nature.

**Ouija board:
A board used to summon and communicate with spirits.

**Seance:
The practice of attempting to psycically contact spirits by a medium or group.

**St.Michael:
The prince of the heavenly host. He is believed to be the archangel who cast Satan out of
Heaven.
